Rebekah has been interested in creative activities and projects from a young age. She was the recipient of the "Excellence in Art Award" in her high school graduating class. Aside from painting and balloon art, she has a professional background in pottery and cake decorating, and also loves learning new skills in the world of textile arts.

Rebekah is the owner and lead artist of Joyful Canvas.

2009 marked the beginning of Rebekah's journey as a professional face painter.

2013 is the year "Joyful Canvas" became the name for her face and body art company.
The name of the company reflects the goal: to create and share joy through face painting.
At that time, Rebekah also became a licensed esthetician (a specialist in skin care and makeup application).

In 2018, Rebekah began balloon twisting as well. It has been a well-recieved addition to services offered.

This year, 2023 marks the beginning of a new service, paint parties.
